1. Do we need colored bags to organize recylcing?

No. The City of Avalon no longer uses colored bags to organize recycling. Sorted recycling can be placed in the appropriate receptacle at the curb.

2. What day is trash vs organics and recycling collected?

If you currently have trash pick up service on Monday and Thursday, your trash will be collected on Monday and organics and recycling will be collected on Thursday. 

If you currently have trash pick up service on Tuesday and Friday, your trash will be collected on Tuesday and organics and recycling will be collected on Friday. 

3. How can I order a recycle cart, or organics pail?
