CPR Training

It is a known fact that early initiation of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) has proven to increase the survival rate of persons who suffer a cardiac arrest. The Avalon Fire Department provides training opportunities to all individuals looking to acquire this life-saving skill.

The training session will teach attendees how to perform CPR on adults, children and infants. You will also learn how to assist a choking victim and how to use an automated external defribulator (AED).

Upcoming classes:

  • Monday, May 22 from 5 - 7p.m. at the Avalon Fire Station
  • Thursday, June 1 from 5 - 7p.m.  at the Avalon Fire Station

Classes are $40.00 per person. Successful completion of the class will result in a two year certification certificate. Register for classes here

Please contact the Fire Chief Michael Alegria if interested in scheduling a class for your employees or group.
