NOTICE TO ALL PERSONS TO REMOVE WEEDS, RUBBISH AND VEGITATIVE FUELS PRIOR TO JUNE 1, 2023
All persons in charge of or control of property in the City of Avalon are hereby notified to remove and properly dispose of all weeds, rubbish and vegetative fuels that may readily transmit fire to buildings, which could threaten to destroy life, property and overwhelm fire suppression capabilities, pursuant with Fire Code Section 4901. All weed abatement must be completed prior to June 1, 2023.
Misdemeanor citations may be issued to any and all persons who fail to comply with this notice after June 1, 2023, under Avalon Municipal Code 4-3 (Article 2).
