The California DMV will conduct business in the City of Avalon April 10-13, 2023

Appointments are available and may be scheduled at Avalon City Hall beginning Monday, March 20, 2023 9:00 a.m.

California driver license and identification card applications will be processed.

The California DMV is now offering federal compliant REAL ID driver licenses and ID cards. For more information on REAL ID visit REALID.dmv.ca.gov

Non-commercial drive tests will be conducted and basic vehicle registration renewals/applications will also be processed.

DMV hours of operation will be:

Monday 1:00pm – 5:00pm

Tuesday 8:00am – 5:00pm

Wednesday 8:00am – 5:00pm

Thursday 8:00am – 11:00am

Acceptable methods of payment will be: cash, checks, and money orders.

(Checks are preferred)

Commercial drive tests will no longer be administered in the City of Avalon.
