Effective January 1, 2022, Senate Bill 1383 (SB 1383) requires all cities to add recycling and organics collection for residential customers. Residents now need to separate all trash, recycling, and organic waste into three different containers.
A separate truck will pick up each waste stream, so please do your part and properly separate your waste into the appropriate container.
If you do not have a recycle cart, organics cart or pail, please contact Avalon Environmental Services and one will be delivered to you.
